I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

Blizzard!!

Day #6:
Christmas morning. I spent Christmas Eve at Gran's becuase she didn't want to be alone and I love kicking it with her so we woke up EARLY as usual on Christmas morning and what to our wondering eyes should appear but SNOW in Alabama. Crazy thought I know. We didn't know what to think either. I soon had to make the voyage back over to Dad's to do Christmas with Cynthia and her kids. We ate a delicious breakfast, did the Christmas thing, and it was still snowing. Now Alabama winter weather usually consists of a few flakes and then by lunch the sun is out and it's all gone. Not this time. We got out and played in the snow, built two of the ugliest snowmen ever created, and did a little redneck sledding. Oh what fun it is to ride on a tire, being pulled by a tractor. Actually, it was more fun watching Cynthia. We laughed until we cried. She yelled the whole way up the hillside and back down. Most fun I've had on Christmas day in a long time. There will be more pics to come from this day, but this is all I have so far. :0)
