I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

Party Planning...

Day #11:
Today, I noticed that it is always better to give than receive and I CAN'T WAIT until Saturday morning when Cynthia and I host a BIG BIRTHDAY for my Grandma. She's turning 86 on New Years Day and we're going to have a party for her. I have already baked the cake (as I will be working all day and night tomorrow and won't have time), bought the signs, ballons, plates, cups, party hats, mardi gras beads, tablecloth, and those little blower things that make noise. You can tell I love me some Dollar Tree. I'm fully loaded for an awesome party for only $16. I got her a funny card and our tradition... a racey calendar. This year I had considered going with the hot cowboys, but instead went with the Chippendale Dancers. There's just something awesome about buying my grandmother a sexy calendar every year and knowing that she's going to love it. That cracks me up. As I said, NYE is insane at the hotel, so there will probably be no post tomorrow. I'll be back with you all on Saturday. Enjoy your New Year. :0)
