I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

Bouncing off the Walls and Becoming Bilingual..

Days #111 & 112: Lonely... I am so lonely.... I have nobody.... at the end of the hallllllllllllllllllllllllllll. Both of my bosses are gone this week. Bowz is at the happiest place on earth, aka Disney World. Chef is at his happiest place on earth, his parent's house in Iceland. I'm home. Alone. Going insane. However, I have come to notice that the internet is a wonderful thing. Chef and I have exchanged a few emails back and forth. When he's away, ours tend to be rather funny. This morning, I ended up laughing hysterically for about 10 minutes. I can't share all the details to protect the innocent, but let's just say he's teaching me a little more Icelandic so that I will be well equipped to deal with those people at work that will absolutely drive a person insane. It was great. Can't wait for that fellow to get back. He's bringing me an Icelandic newspaper this time around (pending he doesn't forget) and I'm sure lots of good stories. :0)
