I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

Updates

Days #76-80:
Seriously? It's been 5 days? Wow. I think I missed a couple. If I can remember back that far... our beloved Katie Boggus came to visit and actually brought the famous Ryan (her husband). He's not a hologram folks, he's an actual person. I met him. What else? Don't remember much of Thursday and Friday... Yesterday I washed my car, cleaned at church, then went to work. EXHAUSTING work over at the Heart Ball. Got in bed at 1ish, lost an hour of sleep and got up at 7am. Tired, sore, but ready to go see the kids. They were WILD. 2 favorite stories. First, we were talking about the very sinful woman that was about to get stoned for adultry... as i tried to explain it without talking about adultry, one of the kids said, I wonder if she liked Rock music. Get it... stones, rock music? Too funny. Then, as the children were going absolutely crazy, one of them decided to pray. This was her prayer, "Dear Lord, please make these girls get all of their silliness out and make them be quiet when we go to children's church. Amen." Hysterical. Gotta roll. :0)
