I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

Cookies, Crazies, and the Soup Kitchen

Days #274- #280:

Let's see... I'm so far behind I don't know where to start. Last week was busy to say the least. We'll split it up. Mrs. Ann had a birthday. I made her chocolate oatmeal cookies. She wasn't there when I took them. We all decided to eat them for her. Sister and I hit the theater again and saw "The Foreigner". It was pretty funny. It's about a guy to afraid to actually talk to people that he goes to a B&B and pretends to not know English. THey end up telling him all their secrets. IT was hilarious. It was also eye-opening. The Klan was in it. I still can't believe people could've been that insane that they ACTUALLY thought that was a good idea. Still creeps me out. We also went to the Soup Kitchen again. It was fun. We had gumbo, rice, grilled cheeses and chocolate tarts. Delightful! :0)
