I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

A day of days...

Day #305:
It's a happy happy happy birthday day. Today is a day we have always celebrated BIG. Today is Mom, Coach Finley and Mrs. Tidwell's birthday! Mom was my mom of course. The best in the entire world. I wish she was here now that I have a job and have money and could actually get her something good... or at least cook her one of Chef's famous receipes. I think she'd have appreciated the effort. Coach Finley was the first guy I ever loved in my life and was my basketball coach. he's best known for being quarterback of our Superbowl games in elementary school. WE still make him a cake every year. Mrs. Tidwell? 3rd grade teacher. She still sends me birthday cards which is awesome. She taught me to be very patriotic, write in cursive, helped me realize that I have NO reading comprehension skills, and gave me the chance to perfect my comedy chops. Those multiplication tables were nearly the death of me, so i'd keep her laughing long enough to count it up on my fingers. Big day - Big birthdays - Big memories. :0)
