I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

And so it begins...

Days #213 & #214:

Ok... here we go. Lots to catch you up on. Worked like crazy on Wednesday, threw some clothes in my suitcase, and took off to Nauvoo to catch the caravan to the airport on Thursday. This will be important later on. Here are a few pics of the furry critters we missed while we were gone. Fred was a complete poser in the hammock and my beautiful Ko-Ko was as always, by my side.

We took off from Huntsville Airport after a slight delay. Delay #1 of the trip. I was once again pulled out of line to have my hands dusted for bomb residue. Apparently I look like a terrorist. This happens EVERY TIME I fly. This will also be important later on. We flew from Huntsville, sprinted through the Houston Airport (because of Delay #1), narrowly avoided the tropical storm, and made it to Seattle shortly after midnight. LONG day.
