I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

The kids...

Day #244:

Here's the newest 2nd Grade Class for Becky and I at Grace Life. This pic doesn't do justice to all the boys we have in class - they just weren't here this morning. From left to right we have Gabe, David, Anna, Kenzie, Mackenzy, Carley and Dalton (in front). Gabe is hilarious. His sister was in our class last year and I never heard the child speak until Halloween. Gabe has not stopped talking from the moment I met him. Even funnier - he's going to be a mime for Halloween. He was cracking me up showing me his moves. David, incredibly quiet. Anna is the 7th or 8th of 10 going on 11 children. I had most of these kids when they were 5, so I knew what I was getting into this year. Anna has grown the most. She's matured leaps and bounds in only 2 years. Kenzie, beside her, is the smartest and sweetest kid I've ever met. Even at 5 she was WISE beyond her years. My only prayer is to not mess her up in the year that I have her. That's why I'm glad Becky's teaching and is in charge. Mackenzy, don't know much about her other than she showed up at our door, didn't want to go into the class that she was supposed to go to and instead decided to stay with us. Carley, incredibly quiet. Never talks. Ever. Sweet kid though. Dalton, I also had when he was 5. At that time, I think he climbed walls. I'm pretty sure he still can. He was doing flips and walking on his hands this morning. Fun times. :0)
