I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

The Kim and the Sea...

Days #215-#216:

There were two very big differences in this cruise and the Hawaii Cruise. In Hawaii, we only sailed at night. Each day we woke up at a different island, practically spending no time on the boat. On this cruise, we spent the first 2 1/2 days ON THE WATER. The first day, Grandmother and I chose to eat plenty of Finnergin pills. We were in the the choppiest waters I've ever been in. We rocked and rocked and rocked and not in a good way. However, on Saturday, the seas finally calmed down and we entered Glacier Bay. Breathtakingly cold and BEAUTIFUL. Titanic Iceburgs for sure. Absolutely no way to take a bad pic here. I know I said it about Hawaii, but the landscapes of Alaska shorelines are GORGEOUS!
