I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

The Redneck Icelander...

Day #27:
This absolutely made my day. Today, I noticed it takes very little to crack me up. We've got a huge Food and Beverage Party coming up in February. Chef has named it the effinbeeextravaganza. We're super pumped. Our parties are the best. Other departments only wish that theirs were as cool. We have the best food, the best music and the best prizes. Our vendors are so good to hook us up with all sorts of good junk. This is an example. Sammy, the SBC guy, brought us a box full of stuff, including this EXTREMELY redneck coozie. Chef pulled it out and thought it was great. You had to be there to fully grasp how incredibly funny it was. He told me he was going to put his coffee in it in the morning. I told him he couldn't be a redneck Icelander because there was no such thing. This sparked some very funny conversation. If only you could hear his Billy Bob accent... :0)
