I read the most awesome book recently called, The Noticer. Author Andy Andrews says that, "The Noticer is rooted in the belief that our time on earth is a gift to be used wisely and one of the best ways to use that gift is by noticing those who have made an impact in our lives". That's what I hope to do this year. I want to notice EVERYTHING for 365 days - All of the God moments in my life - All of the friends and family that surround me - and as always, every bit of the funny that goes on in this world. Hope you enjoy and YOU become a noticer too.

Thanks a lot, Ghandi!

Day #14:
I noticed today, it's a lot easier to live by quotes when you are telling someone else. It's a completely different thing when you yourself are supposed to be living it. For example, my dear Chef told me yesterday, "Remember, bad things happen, but it's how we respond to them that matters" or some cheesy quote like that that he came up with last week while we were walking through the conference center. I told him at the time that he sounded like Ghandi and I'd put that quote in the paper, which I did and we both got a good laugh out of it. When he told me that today, I turned around, and responded, "I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THAT. I'll live it when I DON'T have problems." He laughed and said, "Do you need a hug?" "NO." I replied. "I don't need a hug - I need a car!" Again, we laughed. What else are you going to do? I'm at least glad that he's here to make it better. :0)
